Most detached homes here have the outdoor space for either, so it comes down to whether you want whole-of-home coverage or one or two rooms done, and we size it with you.
Does evaporative cooling actually work here?
It does, because evaporative units pull outside air through wet pads, which only works well in dry heat, and they need windows or vents open while running. They cool only and cannot heat, so if you want heating as well, that is a separate reverse cycle or gas system.
Can one system heat and cool?
